The case of the "Mystery Blogger"

The case of the "Mystery Blogger"

I have been given the task of "labeling" the mystery blogger.
For those you of you haven't been following our blog and for those of you that have and missed it
, there is this mystery Blogger named "BOBBI" that posts weekly. She knows the inter-workings of MSP and for reasons that are OUT-THERE, NO ONE knows what she looks like (except the staff of course).
So I spent a little time today going through some of the Paparazzi pictures that were taken of her and found the best, retouched them, and now am posting them so you may ALL see the face behind the name "BOBBI" (if that really his her true name ~hahaha)
SO here she is..... our fabulous young Bobbi Parker..........

Annie and Taylor

Here are some of my latest Dr. Wendell gift certificate recipients.  Taylor is standing with her arms crossed and Annie is in the purple shirt.  A couple of years ago I photographed Taylor's brother and both of them are extremely wonderful.  Taylor has gorgeous brown eyes and her black shirt just emphasized those great eyes!  Annie came in with an injured ankle but was still able to give me a wonderful smile (especially with some help from her younger brother!)  I absolutely love her red hair.  That is a hair color I wish I was brave enough to try and she was lucky enough to get it naturally!

Chris, Susan and Hannah

Things are sure quiet around here since Monica and Bobbi are at WPPI in Las Vegas.  I have heard that Monica's program went very well and Bobbi is enjoying the classes immensely!  Here are some Dr. Wendell patients that I have photographed recently. From left to right, Chris, Susan and Hannah.  Yes, Chris has a great smile but I loved this image of him so I decided to put it on the blog.  Susan was so great to get to know during her session.  Her smile goes right to her eyes and lights her whole face up.  Hannah can come back anytime to be photographed.  Look at those eyes!

Day off, what day off?

On Martin Luther King day many people had the day off.  So I had a marathon of Dr. Wendell patient's come in to take advantage that we were working!  I know it is probably not on the top of their list of "fun-things-to-do-on-your-day-off," BUT I had fun!  Alexandra was great to photograph and the boys, well, they got through it the best they could and gave me great smiles.  From r to l - Vishal, Nick, Alex, Alexandra and Elliott.

Blush on the Move!

Today Monica and I went out to visit a lot of wedding vendors in the Williamsburg area (and more to come on Monday). The packages we completed ended up looking fantastic -with a little help from everyone here at MSP (Cathy that means you too)! They included Blush business cards, brochures, a book with Blush images in them, flowers, a yummy chocolate cake and crinkle galore!

It was so great meeting everyone today and I'm really looking forward to working with them soon.

On a side note, I cannot believe a week from tomorrow we fly out for the WPPI convention in Las Vegas! For those of you who aren't familiar with WPPI, it stands for Wedding & Portrait Photographers International and is a great organization made up of a ton of very talented photographers *cough Monica Sigmon and Michael Taylor cough* who get together and share their knowledge. It's going to be an amazing adventure and I couldn't be happier to get to be a part of it all!

BIRTHDAYS GONE BAD!!!!

Soooo
..... I walk into the studio on a bleary-eyed, cold morning. Coffee in hand bundled in my warm overcoat, mittens and hat. I was greeted as usual by Lucy who races me up the stairs. The second my foot hits the top step, 4 crazed LUNATICS armed with Silly String assault me screaming something in-coherently, laughing manically!! As the ammo runs low, I open my eyes (which are covered in a gooey mess) to find Monica, Micheal, Alice and Bobbi glaring at me. "I'm Sorry, what did you scream" was my response. "Happy Birthday Loser" was theirs.
Now I need to tell you t
hat my Feliz Cumpleanos is NO WHERE near today so I'm baffled.
Now not only di
d they cover me in silly string, which is the BEST by the way, but they completely TRASHED my office (SEE BELOW for evidence of tampering!!!!)
Turns out that SOMEHOW my real birthday was deleted from the computer and SOMEHOW someone(MONICA) found out!
So I was called some not nice names :) and received some really COOL gifts and an awesome Carrot Cake!!!! Alice even involved her dastardly children in the plot, they made me a really cutie crown with the words "Ya Old Sucker" engraved. NICE!!!!
It was all fabulous fun even though I am still cleaning up the mess that those MASTERMIND TROUBLEMAKERS made.
All joking aside- I had a great time and IF I ever catch the person who deleted my Birthday...
I must give'em a smack-in-the-head
:) Stephanie

Summer, Jamie, Elizabeth and Jessica

Hello!  For those of you may not know but I photograph high school seniors at the studio as well as Dr. Peter Wendell's patients.  Dr. Wendell, a Williamsburg orthodontist, gives gift certificates to his patients once treatment as been completed as a way to celebrate and show off the patient's hard work (oh, and Dr. Wendell's too!)  Below are some of my most recent favorite images from their sessions.  You will see more in the near future, so if you do not see yours, wait a few weeks and you just might!  From left to right, Summer, Jamie, Elizabeth and Jessica.  Don't they all look GORGEOUS!

Blush is hitting the streets!

The time is here! Monica and I are heading out to visit the venders on Friday and let them see how awesome Blush is. We've ordered tons of goodies to go in baskets (photos to come) that we'll be giving out to local flower shops, and wedding venues. I've been busy folding and tying and sticking all sorts of stuff for the last week. You think Monica noticed this blog is a little tardy?
Anyway, I'm really excited to get to meet some of the people I will be working with when 'wedding season' gets rolling.

Also... in less than two weeks, Monica, Michael and I are heading to VEGAS! No, we aren't going to play (well, not the whole time), we're actually going to WPPI. I've never been to Vegas before so I can imagine the sensory overload I will experience. Can't wait!

Got to run, more things to be done before Friday!
