In the last few months, we have been doing a lot of cross-marketing with the cool folks over at Binns in Merchant Square. In April we co-hosted a Girls' Night Out Party...we called it Binns After Dark and it was a GREAT time!

At the end of the very late night - we're talking after midnight - we decided to do a very cool, contemporary staff portrait. All the ladies grabbed their gowns and while they were getting dressed, Michael, Bobbi, and I got everything ready and set the stage. We had a blast and everyone was great - despite the late hour! I only wish I looked that good after midnight!! Here's what we came up with:

Monica was recently honored by the Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center's Auxiliary for her work with Women With A Cause and the awareness that campaign helped to raise about the hospital's Free Mammography Program and the Pineapple Knitters Team. The 3rd Annual Women With A Cause Celebration will be held Thursday, May 28th at TowneBank and will honor 23 local women who are making a difference right here in Williamsburg. Haley, Blaize and Ashleigh

Yes, I am back again with another round of Wendell patients.  (I missed last week because I am on the Board for Women with a Cause and I was kinda busy with that project.  So do me a favor and keep your lips sealed and don't tell the boss that I missed a week.)  So without further ado, here they are, in no particular order of my favorite person to photograph, Haley, Blaize and Ashleigh!

Binns and Las Vegas

The wedding show at Binns this past weekend was great! Monica and I met a few recently engaged, soon to be brides and got to show them a little bit about Monica's weddings and of course Blush! We're looking forward to working with some of the other vendors who were there too, like The Williamsburg Lodge and The Williamsburg Inn, two great places to have a wedding or reception. 

On another note, I've finally put together a slideshow of my images from Las Vegas! What a blast that was! I had never been before and now I totally understand why people visit. It was amazing. WPPI was great, all the classes were so inspirational. And the trade show! Oh my, how big it was! So many companies from all over the world were there like Kodak, Nikon, Canon, tons of printing companies, and tons of album companies, just to name a few! I got to hear Monica and Michael speak in several booths which was such a privilege. Monica and Michael you rock!

Monica and I both came back from Vegas filled to the brim with ideas for the studio. Now it's just a matter of figuring out where to start! So off I go!

The case of the "Mystery Blogger"

I have been given the task of "labeling" the mystery blogger.
For those you of you haven't been following our blog and for those of you that have and missed it, there is this mystery Blogger named "BOBBI" that posts weekly. She knows the inter-workings of MSP and for reasons that are OUT-THERE, NO ONE knows what she looks like (except the staff of course).
So I spent a little time today going through some of the Paparazzi pictures that were taken of her and found the best, retouched them, and now am posting them so you may ALL see the face behind the name "BOBBI" (if that really his her true name ~hahaha)
SO here she is..... our fabulous young Bobbi Parker..........

Annie and Taylor

Here are some of my latest Dr. Wendell gift certificate recipients.  Taylor is standing with her arms crossed and Annie is in the purple shirt.  A couple of years ago I photographed Taylor's brother and both of them are extremely wonderful.  Taylor has gorgeous brown eyes and her black shirt just emphasized those great eyes!  Annie came in with an injured ankle but was still able to give me a wonderful smile (especially with some help from her younger brother!)  I absolutely love her red hair.  That is a hair color I wish I was brave enough to try and she was lucky enough to get it naturally!  

   

  

Well we are back from Vegas and what an awesome week we had!!! I will definitely post some pics this weekend. In the meanwhile, I thought I'd share a video that I prepared for my program Monday night. Enjoy!
